Hydrocortisone is a prescribed dosage that comes in many forms mostly the injection but there are prescribed tablets too.This drug is mostly used to cure stomach, kidney ,lungs, liver among other external parts of the body. Whether its taken as overdose in children or adults it must have its side effects and some of them include, headache, stomachache, nausea among other effects. These are mere side effects, there are also chronic side effects like, fainting and loss of appetite. When giving kids this dosage, it should be kept in mind that, the dosage shouldn't be taken alongside other antibiotic drugs like herbs or vitamins as this might be harmful and may make the drug not to work well. Also, this might cause allergic reactions like skin itching, rashes and trouble in breathing. Also if your kid is allergic, you need to talk to the doctor for another alternative because this drug isn't suitable for the allergic people and might even cause death.
