I wish I knew because then maybe I could stop worrying. One of my worst faults is worrying about something that may never happen. I have this theory that if I picture the worst in a situation and it actually happens, then it won't be such a shock. Not everyone is like me. My partner never worries about things because he says what will be will be and worrying about it won't change anything. I know this is true and I wish I could be like him but I think if you are a worrier it is just part of your nature and there is little you can do that will make a difference. It helps to know that there are many others like me especially when it comes to parents worrying about their children. As they grow up and become a little more independent  the thought of not being there for them so much is quite scary. It's the thing I worry about the most and I know that will never change.
