7. To provide maximum drug action from topical administration sites. Eg. Creams, ointments, ophthalmic preparations, ENT preparations.
8. To provide liquid dosage form of the drugs which are insoluble or unstable in different vehicles.eg. Suspension
9. To provide liquid dosage form of the drugs which are soluble in a suitable vehicle.eg. Solutions
