On the contrary, I take food as a voluntary treat and I am often not lazy to bake and cook even more demanding menus and adjust the table for myself. I take different styles, eating habits, growing herbs and spices, accumulating cookbooks, kitchen equipment, etc. as part of a certain culture. My husband, on the other hand, as a long-term vegan, had the exact opposite approach to food. He approached food consumption as a replenishment of the necessary fuels for the body. It took me a lot of work to "re-educate" him and change his approach. With plenty of imagination and creativity, you can also prepare delicious, vegan-friendly and digestible vegan food. My view is that the relationship to food and everything related to it reflects a person's opinion and attitude. One should be able to enjoy both food and life. At the age of ninety-three, my grandmother, despite living alone, cooked daily and baked, for example, one type of tea cake for coffee. She was in complete mental peace until the last days of her life.
