Hi I have a Citroen C8 2.2 petrol year 2004, they repaired the connecting rods because it was bent on 4 cylinders, after the repairing the connecting rods the engine behaves well (lower consumption, better performance) but only after a while about 8 km it flashes again catalytic converter fault, and the car only runs on 3 cylinders the engine is mechanically cool after clearing the fault again runs quietly for another 8 km and the error starts again, diagnostics reports a fault 2 cylinders and a radiator fan fault, the service has already replaced the ignition strip but they weren't supposed to test individual sensors on the engine, does anyone have a similar experience? can the two defects be related in any way? Please any advice thanks
