Physicians write a simple 'Rx' at the beginning of a prescription . There are several theories as to why this is written. A few doctrines are given below. The first doctrine is known as the Jupiter or Jupiter doctrine. According to these theorists , Rx is the astrological sign of the planet Jupiter or Jupiter . This planet is the king of the Roman gods and the most powerful. So the Rx sign is written before writing the name of the drug in the prescription . Its meaning is 'start reading in the name of Jesus (Jesus)' or start accepting in the name of Jesus or start in the name of Jesus. ' X' refers to Jesus Christ or Jesus Christ. As Xmas refers to *********. Note that the Greek letter ' Chi' is denoted by X. It basically means Christ or Jesus in Greek. The fourth doctrine is known as rational doctrine. According to the medical dictionary , Rx is a Latin word meaning a means , a technique , a method, and a recipe to take. Etc. are used in the sense. There is another doctrine in this regard. Many call it modern doctrine. According to them , Rx means Report extended . The body is diagnosed with an 'extended' report where the next steps are described.
