Tamarind is a spring fruit of our country but it is available all year round. Many people think that eating tamarind is harmful to health and playing tamarind causes blood clots. This idea is completely wrong. Rather, tamarind has a lot of nutritional and medicinal properties. Tamarind controls hypertension in the body and is very beneficial for heart patients. Tamarind is used to make Kabiraji , Ayurvedic , Homoeo and Allopathic medicines. The total minerals in ripe tamarind are much higher than all fruits. The amount of food energy in tamarind is much higher than all fruits except coconut and date. Tamarind contains 5 to 10 times more calcium than all other fruits. Other nutrients are present in normal amounts . Tamarind juice is very useful for diseases such as scurvy , constipation , body irritation, etc. Tamarind juice is very useful.
