How to Remove Nose Blackheads
Blackheads on the nose might not be painful, but they can be definitely unsightly. If you’re tired of having these black dots forming all over your nose, don’t worry. You only need to learn a few hygienic tactics.
What You’ll Need:
Warm water
Pan
Stove
Facial mask
Facial wash
Blackhead removal strips
Scissors
Facial Mask For Blackheads
Take a hot shower first. The steam from it will help soften the blackheads, making them easier to remove. When done, pat your face dry thoroughly, then push back and tie your hair so it won’t get in the way.
Get a pan and heat water in it. When the water boils, take it off the heat and put it on an even surface. Put your head over the steam coming from the pan. Make sure you don’t burn yourself, though. Do this for at least five minutes, or until the water’s out of steam.
Splash your face with warm water and pat it dry with a clean towel.
Get a clay facial mask. There are some brands sold in beauty stores made especially for blackhead removal. Find out which ones are available. Smooth the facial mask over your face, focusing on your nose and the blackheads. Wait for it to dry.
Rinse the mask off with warm water, followed by a splash of cool water, to close the pores.
Using Blackhead Nose Strips
Nose strips are very popular when removing blackheads. They can be purchased from any beauty store at an inexpensive price.
removing blackheads
Wash your face with warm water and a mild facial wash. Scrub your face gently, then rinse thoroughly.
Some blackheads nose strips are already pre-cut, but there are times when they’re too big or too wide for you. If needed, cut and adjust the size of the strips. If the ones you bought have tabs that can be peeled off, then remove them.
Dampen your nose with a little bit of warm water.
Stick the strip onto your nose, making sure it’s snugly-fitted with no overlapping or bubbles.
Dampen the strip with wet water. It doesn’t need to be soaked, just damp. Let the strip sit for 10 minutes. Don’t move or play with it.
When it’s dry and hardened, remove the strip. The blackheads will come out, attached to the paper.
Wash your face again, to remove any remaining residue on your face.
Other Methods
Scotch tape can be used as an alternative to nose blackhead strips. Peeling it away can hurt a bit, though.
Use astringent for your nose blackheads. Apply it with a cotton ball, along with acne medication, such as benzoyl peroxide. These will dry out the blackheads, removing them every time you cleanse.
Some beauty stores sell blackhead removers that suck the blackhead out using a tube. Purchase one of these, and make sure to follow the instructions given.
A water and apple cider vinegar mix can be a good astringent. Apply it to your blackheads at night.
Use glue. This sticks like the nose strips, and can be peeled off from your skin along with the blackheads.
Blackheads on the nose can hinder your desire to have flawless and lovely skin. With these easy steps, you can get rid of these effectively, and give your nose a cleaner, better look.
