Every baby gets jaundice after birth. It starts when the baby is three days old . Sometimes it can happen again in two days. In seven to ten days it will heal on its own. This type of jaundice is called 'Physiological Jaundice'. Newborns have very high levels of bilirubin. This is because the enzymes or enzymes in the liver that are supposed to control bilirubin do not start functioning immediately after the baby is born. This is the cause of physiological jaundice. Breast Milk Jaundice: Another type of jaundice in children is breast milk jaundice. Breast milk contains a hormone that can cause high levels of bilirubin in the baby's body. This type of jaundice has been seen in many children. Sometimes it lasts for one to two months. If it is caught while the child is in the hospital, he is placed under ultraviolet rays or ultraviolet rays. Many times, however, jaundice is caught after the child leaves home. In that case the child is asked to lie down in the sunlight. This type of jaundice is treated in two ways. Rhesus incompatibility: Rhesus incompatibility is probably the most complicated of jaundice in children. Jaundice often occurs when the baby's blood type does not match the mother's blood type. The child develops jaundice from the day of birth and the treatment needs to start from that day. It is possible to know if she will have such jaundice only if she is tested before pregnancy but before the baby is born . In that case treatment is the benefit. Thus, if this jaundice is less, it can be cured with phototherapy. Otherwise, if the severity of jaundice is very high , the last option is blood transfusion or the child is not completely discharged from the hospital. It is not possible to treat jaundice at home. Obstruction: The jaundice that results from obstruction or obstruction in any part of the body is jaundice in children but it is serious. Because it is not suddenly understood at first. It is difficult to distinguish between jaundice and physiological jaundice. But physiological jaundice should be cured within 10 days. If this happens , the jaundice does not go away in two weeks , then go to the doctor immediately and get tested. If there is jaundice due to obstruction, the color of the child's toilet will be white. Moreover, the color of the skin may be a little more yellow. Remember , it is very important to catch this jaundice baby between the ages of one to one and a half months. Because within that time, the obstruction , which is causing jaundice , has to be removed through surgery . This should be taken as an exception to the rule. Other Reasons: Jaundice may be due to some other reasons. Jaundice also occurs for hypothyroidism. It occurs five to seven days after birth. Hypothyroid jaundice starts late , ends late. Again, pre-macho babies and small children are more prone to jaundice. Now the type of jaundice. ABCA - All types of jaundice can affect children. Jaundice of type 'A' and 'E' is usually caused by infection from food and drink. And hepatitis 'B' can be due to various reasons. If the mother has it, the baby can be infected with 'B' type jaundice at birth. Moreover, if blood is given to a child's body, it can also be the result of various infections from the hospital. There is another cause of hepatitis B. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. And if the child at home has hepatitis B, everyone in the house should get vaccinated. There is a hepatitis B vaccine. Hepatitis C has nothing like that. So it's very scary. In many cases , jaundice in children of one or two years is not understood.
