Generally we all know jaundice is a disease of the liver. While this is true in most cases, in many cases there are many more causes of jaundice. Simply put, if the amount of bilirubil in the blood increases and turns yellow in the skin , eyes , urine and mouth, it is called jaundice. Bilirubin is a chemical made by breaking down red blood cells. Bilirubin enters the liver and turns into bile. We do not have to suffer from jaundice because bile comes out of the liver. Types of jaundice: Jaundice can be divided into three parts 1. Pre-hepatic: The red blood cells break down more and more for some reason. Such as: a. Hemolytic anemia , b. Malaria , c. Thalassemia. 2. Hepatic: If there is any problem in the liver. Most jaundices are due to this. For example: viral hepatitis (A , E , U , U , U) , as a result of excessive drinking , in case of liver cancer. 3. If there is a problem with the way out of the liver after the post hepatic bile is formed in the liver. Such as: bile duct stones , bile duct cancer. What to do if you understand jaundice ? You can easily find out if you have jaundice through a blood bilirubil test. Normal bilirubin.2-1.2 mg / d. Ltd. Latent jaundice 1.2-2 m. G./D: Ltd. Full jaundice 2m: g./d. Ltd. If the level of bilirubin is 2 mg / d. If it is more than Ltd., seek the help of a doctor. Drink plenty of water and rest at jaundice , do not take any medicine other than the medicine prescribed by the doctor. Refrain from drinking alcohol. Do not take herbal medicine.
