Hallucination' is a symptom of various mental illnesses. Psychiatric patients talk about all kinds of occult things in their ears. This is actually hallucinations. Many times when we wake up we think that someone around us is calling us by name. This is also hallucination. At least one thing is clear - hallucinations can occur under normal conditions. This can be discussed later. Let us first know the real identity of hallucinations. Ordinary religions A common religion of our five senses is that they arouse certain stimuli and arouse any special feeling in our mind. One sense awakens one feeling. The sense of hearing awakens the sense of sound , the skin awakens the feeling of touch , the tongue awakens the sense of taste , the nose awakens the sense of smell , the eye awakens the feeling of sight. When a rope hangs in front of us, it will feel like a normal rope. When someone sees a snake on the rope, there is an illusion. The rope acts as a stimulant here. Illusion requires stimuli. But hallucinations are a completely different process. There is nothing in front but the person can see something. Patients often say that a dog is walking in front of him. No one around is watching. The room is very bright. So is the patient going to tell a false story ? In fact, hallucinations occur in the patient's eyes. In some cases hallucinations can occur in a variety of ways. It can be understood from the behavior of those whose family members are suffering from a serious disease like schizophrenia- (1) Rahima. Age 30 years. Crying profusely. The jinn-angels are going to talk to him. He can see everyone. The patient is actually suffering from hysteria. Hallucinations occurred in his eyes. In the language of medical science, it is called visual hallucination. (2) Karim. Doctors have diagnosed her with 'schizophrenia'. He always talks alone. In fact, speaking alone is an indirect manifestation of hallucinations. Various unseen sounds come to his ears all the time. He continues to answer these non-speaking dialogues. That's why he speaks alone. (3) Many mental patients have cotton in their ears. Because he doesn't want to hear the words floating around from an unknown place. That's why he is careful. But what will be the last defense ? There have been many instances where the patient has torn the eardrum with a sharp instrument. The result is that the patient is released from his noisy world, but enters a world where there are no outside words , just that. Then hallucinations! Hallucination is a state in which a person acquires a particular sensation without any stimulus. The transmission of this feeling happens just like normal feeling. For example, if a person hears the unseen, it means that hallucinations of the sense of hearing occur. This is not to say that the unseen happens very lightly. Just as he hears the people around him , so does the unseen in his ears. Hallucinations can occur in every part of the body. Hearing hallucinations The unseen sound coming to the ears is called hearing hallucinations. It occurs in most mental illnesses. The patient hears the ear. It is not enough to know so much information in diagnosing the disease. In this case, psychiatrists ask about the details of the unseen sound of the ear. Because hallucinations alone cannot diagnose the disease. Note that in addition to hallucinations, the patient has many other symptoms. Eye hallucinations Visual hallucinations. The patient sees an object in front of his eyes. This can also change the size again. Can see an object smaller than its normal size. Again much more could evolve. In this case the patient may speak of the monster in front of him. Skin hallucinations The patient may say that the bed bugs are moving over or under his skin. Another group says that someone is having sex with her every day. Someone in the middle of his body is giving an electric shock. These are skin hallucinations. Psychiatrists refer to the hallucinations of the tongue and the nasal passages together. Because these two happen together. In tongue hallucinations, the patient tastes food from an unknown place. In nasal hallucinations no one around is sniffing but the patient is constantly saying that there is a strong smell coming from somewhere in his nose.
