According to the Shari'ah, the meat of the sacrifice can be kept for as long as desired and can be eaten long term as per one's choice. There is no problem in this. However, it is desirable to divide the meat of the Qurbani into three parts, one part to the relatives, one part to the poor miskin and the other part to the environment for oneself or one's family .
