Dear religious brother , beard is a great and great blessing of Allah. Considered as a symbol of Islam. Beard means masculinity , it is the identity of masculinity, the beauty of Muslim. This is one of the manifest signs of Allah. By this one can be included among the beloved servants of Allah. Allaah says ( interpretation of the meaning) : (Surah Al-Hajj , verse: 32) Moreover, by having a beard, you have escaped from at least some sins - Alhamdulillah. One of the sins from which he has escaped , is- (1) Survived from disobedience. Imam Ibn Jarir Tabari Rah. Narrated by Zayd Ibn Abi Habib. On behalf of the ruler of Yemen, two men came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Their beards were shaved and their mustaches were long. It was difficult for the Messenger of Allah to look at their faces. He said to them , May you die! Who told you to do this ? They said , " Our **** has commanded us." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said , " But my **** has commanded me to forgive my life and give me a drink." Since the Sunnah of the Prophet ( peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) says to grow a beard , it is an extreme insult to his honorable Sunnah and way of life. He said , مَن رغِب عن سُنتي فليس مِنِّي " He who dislikes my Sunnah is not of my party." (Muslim , 3238) (3) Survived the sin of distorting God's creation. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said : مَنْ مَثَّلَ بِالشَّعْرِ " Whoever disfigures himself by plucking or cutting his hair or blackening it , Allah has no share in it." (He will not get anything from Allah). (At- Tabarani , Hadith No. 1098) The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) narrated in another hadeeth on the authority of Ibn 'Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him ) : Ibn Abbas agreed. Narrated , he said , " لعن وسلم الله صلى الله عليه وسلم المت النساء والمتشبهات من النساء بالمتشبهات من النساء بالرجال " The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) to Allah's Messenger ( াল) He did. " (Sahih Bukhari , Hadith No. 575 , 6/159 ; Abu Dawood , Hadith No. 4096 , 4/60 ; Tirmidhi , Hadith No. 264) The famous Alem Ibn Abdul Bar Rahimahullah said , ” (6) Exposing sins in front of everyone, which is a very difficult haraam deed, has been avoided. . In the hadith of Sahih Bukhari , the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him ) said : كُلُّ مُمَّتِي مُعَافًى ِّلَّا المُجَاهِرِينَ All the mujtahid-imams of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaat said that it is obligatory to keep the beard long and it should be at least a handful. The consensus of all the Imams of the four Madhhabs has been established in this regard. There is an opportunity in Sharia to cut off an extra part of a fist. Keeping less than one fist or shaving it is unanimously haram and a grave sin. Because it is found in the book of Hadith , Hazrat Abdullah bin Omar Razi. And Hazrat Abu Huraira agreed. Cut an extra part of a fist. Such as- Abu Jura rah. Said Abu Huraira agreed . He used to hold his beard. Then he would cut off the extra part of a fist. (Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 13/112 , Hadith: 25992 ; 25999) Nafe Rah. Said Abdullah bin Omar . He used to shave off the extra beard of the fist. (The above hadith: 25996) He said that they (Sahaba-Tabi'is) used to give leave to cut the extra beard of the fist. (Quoted 13/112 , Hadith: 25995) This period of Sahaba-Tabein can be taken as an explanation of the Marfu-Hadiths related to it. Therefore, it is evident from the Hadith and Ashar on this subject that it is obligatory to keep the beard long , and it is not permissible in the Shari'ah to cut or trim the beard less than a handful. Lastly, a word of regret. At present jokes are being made about beards. Some have cut it and placed it on the chin , some have drawn the beard as a light straight black line , others as a curved line. Some people have drawn a circle with French curtains one by one. Again, many young people are motivated to cut a new type of hair or beard of a player or a hero and try in vain to do the same in their own appearance. Some people have cut the style and cut it very small to match the cheeks. Many people keep it for a few days and then finish it in a few days. These beards will be the purpose for which they have been kept , there will never be any reward. May Allah give you the correct understanding. Amen.
