If it is absolutely necessary , and there is no possibility of committing sins , then it is permissible to talk to other men from behind the curtain. It would not be permissible to talk to strangers unnecessarily. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning) : “ And if you ask his [Messenger's] wives for anything, ask them from behind a curtain. This is the cause of more purity for your hearts and for their hearts. ”- Surah Al-Ahzab-53 In the discussion of that verse, he said , in that verse, Allah has allowed the wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him) to ask for something from behind the curtain or to ask for some masala. Ordinary women are also included in the above order. - Qurtubi 14/148 in Tafseer but it is not permissible if there is a possibility of committing sins. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said , Gina of the two ears, listening intently to the [ sexual stimulus of the mahram in Ghair]. Gina is the tongue , [ tickling] conversation with mahram in Ghair. The gina of the hand is to hold or touch [ the mahram of Ghair]. Gina of the feet is , walking [with bad intentions]. The heart wants and desires and the place of shame makes it a reality [if it commits adultery] and turns it into a lie [if it does not commit adultery in proportion to the desires of the heart]. - Sahih Muslim , Hadith No. 2658 , Musnad Ahmad , Hadith No. 6932 But when speaking from behind the scenes with strangers, keep your voice strong , not in a soft, soft voice . He used to keep his hands over his mouth and distort his voice and speak from behind the curtain so that no one's heart would get diseased .
