Since zakat is one of the most important prohibitions in Islam and the terrible consequences of not paying zakat have been stated in Islam (Surah Tawba: 34-35) , as well as in Islam it has been termed as the right of the poor (Surah Tawba: 60). There is nothing wrong with setting the price as the standard ; Rather, it is better for at least two reasons - first, it involves caution and absolution , because zakat may be obligatory on Allah on the basis of the value of silver. Because , at present the value of Nisab amount of silver is much less than the amount of Nisab amount of gold. Second: The poor benefit if the value of the nisab amount of silver is set as the standard for zakat on mixed wealth. Because silver is worth less than gold. Therefore, the amount of Zakat is obligatory on people in the amount of silver , the amount of Zakat is not obligatory on the amount of people in the amount of gold. Therefore , the number of those who pay zakat on silver will increase , so the poor will benefit. So if gold-silver , money-money or trade-goods- none of these have a separate nisab amount , but they have more than one item , which together is equal to or more than fifty-two and a half rupees of silver, then all the wealth is calculated in this case. (Musannafe Abdur Razzaq Hadith 706 , 7061 ; Musannafe Ibn Abi Shaybah 6/393 ) Raised silver is equivalent to or greater than. Then zakat should be collected by calculating the value of gold and silver. (Musannafe Ibn Abi Shaybah Hadith 9979 , 10649 ; Raddul Muhtar 2/303) b) Someone has some gold ornaments and some surplus money or merchandise which together is equal to or more than fifty and a half rupees of silver. It has to pay zakat. (Raddul Muhtar 2/303) c) Someone has less silver than nisab and some surplus money or merchandise which together is equal to or more than fifty and a half rupees of silver. He also has to pay Zakat. (Addurrul Mukhtar 2/303) Dear questioner brother , but in the opinion of those who consider gold as nisab in such cases, caution , full assurance of absolutism and benefits of the poor are less, but we do not rebuke them. Because the matter is disputed among the scholars.
