Fuse : It is a type of soft metal wire which, when more than the required current flows through the wire, burns it, disconnects the electrical circuit from the source and protects the valuable machinery from destruction. The power of the fuse wire depends on the level of electrical power flow and accordingly the fuse wire is usually used from 5 to 50 amp . Fuses are made of a simple mixture of tin and copper or pure silver. Circuit Breaker: Circuit breakers are used to connect or disconnect electrical lines under normal and abnormal conditions . The circuit breaker trips the line and separates the faulty part if there is any electrical fault or fault in the power supply line . This breaks the static contact and protects it from accidents.
