What to do if you forget your Gmail ID password: 1. You have to enter www.gmail.com . Can't access your account? Click on 3. Now there are three options. From there you have to select Don't know my password . Now you have to give the user ID of the mail account for which you have forgotten the password. Now you have to click on Continue 5. Now you need to know how to get a new password. There are two options. The first is (red dot). A code will be sent to the mobile phone number which was given while creating the account. A recovery email will be sent to the alternate mail address that was given. There will be a link in the mail , clicking on that link will give you the option to create a new password. . If you select the first option, you can see Receive via * a text message * an automated phone call . If you select the first option from here and click on Continue , an SMS will come from Google to that mobile phone with a 7 digit code. Now you have to enter this code. Selecting the second option and clicking on Continue will send a mail to your alternate email address. That's what he needs to log in. There will be a link in the mail. Clicking there will bring up a new page. . Click on Continue . Another new window will appear. There is a new password. If you double click on Reset password then the work is done
