The effective prevention of cervical cancer or HPV is the HPV vaccine. Vaccines against HPV - 16 , HPV- 16 , HPV- 6 , HPV-11 have been discovered. This vaccine produces effective antibodies against the mentioned virus in the body. As soon as the dangerous virus infects the uterus, pre-existing antibodies are able to destroy it. There are two types of vaccines. One (cervix) vaccine against two viruses (HPV-17 , HPV- 17) , the other (Gardasil) four viruses. Any vaccine (Cervarix or Gardasil) is given to 12-13 year old girls before they become infected with HPV. The vaccine is effective between the ages of 9 and 25 , according to US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations . The vaccine is given in three doses. The second dose is given one month after the first dose and the third dose is given six months after the first dose. The vaccine is now considered to be effective for four to six years from the moment of vaccination. However, this vaccine for married life is not very effective. The vaccine during pregnancy has not yet been approved. Vaccination is of no use after HVP infection or cancer. Because , this vaccine cannot suppress the infection and cannot stop the cancer. Recipients of this vaccine also need to take regular Pap smear tests. Cervical cancer is still the number one problem for women in Bangladesh. Twenty-five percent of female cancer patients, or one in four, are infected. In order to reduce the incidence of this disease, women need to be aware of this disease. The following points are very important in the prevention of cervical cancer. - To abide by the customary law of Bangladesh (age of marriage of girls 18 years) to stop child marriage. - Refrain from having more children. - Stop smoking. Care should be taken not to harm others by smoking, that is , not to be a victim of secondhand smoke. - You should stop eating jorda and white leaves with the drink and apply rose (tobacco powder) at the base of the teeth. - Eat a balanced diet so that there is no malnutrition. You have to eat fruits , vegetables and curry three to four times a day . You have to live a clean , healthy and orderly life.
