Our cherry trees still have leaves, this is Sept 11, something might have laid eggs...fruit should be done.........if it is you can use sevin..........read the directions on the side of the bottle and check for the usage amount............in the late fall when all the leaves are off use dormant oil.........in the spring the same thing....check the container for the spring amount...this smothers the bugs eggs...............then I spray up to bud stage....then I only spray the trunk.............wear old clothes, goggles, hat, gloves and mask. Keep children & pets away until it dries. Don't spray if it is going to rain or if it is windy
