In answer to both questions…not usually. There may be some instances where you can, but I think it’s hard. As a general rule, if you get fired or just up & quit, you can’t get it. You have to be laid off of a job. You also have to be there long enough for them to have paid into the fund for you. None of these reasons sound promising as far as collecting.
