Answer :

answered my own question I think. script/generate scaffold lfp_contact didn’t load the helpers with the right case sensitivity. change the helper method and was able to run script/server. Hopefully I will be able to remove the scaffold now as well. This time I will keep all my cases lowercase. and I won’t use underscores in my naming conventions. ^_^
