This article was in my local paper yesterday. I’ve been hearing a lot about this over the past few months. You need to be very careful and ask a lot of questions. Be assertive. YOU are the customer in which they rely on for survival although they may try treating you like you are asking for favors. Don’t allow them to do that. Your tax money, in the form of the National Stimulus Package is what funds the mortgage modification program.
