Sounds like he was scamming (an admission fee to an FB page seems like a red flag right off) Good thing you only donated $10. You were not out of line for asking that question. He shouldn’t have reacted that way. After all, you gave money to him, more than the amount asked for, also. Is he aware that you donated money?
