Like diamond wedding rings, I would chalk this one up to advertising. When I was a kid there were ads like.. Protein makes men manly.. Eat a steak and get big and strong. Paid for by the beef lobby. I barely eat any meat. But I have watched my sister devour a bucket from KFC and it is sickening.
