I just finished the latest book on management techniques by Jane Brown. I’m always trying to keep up with the latest literature in the field. Reading is a great way to keep up with changes in one’s field and this interviewee knows it. She proves that her interest in the field goes beyond the nine-to-five job.

Never Say: “My job keeps me so busy I really don’t have time to read.” Even if you don’t have time to read for pleasure, you should have time to keep up with your professional literature if you want to be seen as a dedicated applicant.
