Tell me about the personal accomplishment that you are the proudest of.

1 Answer

Answer :

Last year I ran a marathon for the first time. I’ve been a runner for years, but I never ran more than four miles at a time. I began training four months before the big day. It was hard, but I kept going and ended up finishing in just over four hours, which I’ve heard is pretty good for a first-time marathoner. By discussing running a marathon, this candidate demonstrates that she will work hard to reach her goals. She also shows that she is not afraid of a challenge, something her prospective employer should appreciate.

Never Say: “I bought my first house.” Without an explanation of how she reached this goal, this candidate doesn’t show off any strengths when she gives this example.
