Protein shakes are one of the best workout foods as it provides you with the energy and nutritional boost your body needs before you begin your workout routine. Also, fruits and/or yogurt are also another healthy choice before a workout as they are low in calories but high in nutritional value. I personally enjoy anything with berries as a snack before a workout as they are one of the healthiest foods you could possibly eat.
