My grandmother keeps all of her batteries in her freezer, and they seem to last longer than room-temperature ones. Hope this helped! (I think it has to do with slowing down the corrosion in the interior of the battery)----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Actually storage in the freezer damages them and shortens their life (due to ice crystal growth).Perhaps you meant the refrigerator. That extends the life of batteries in storage, but before using them batteries must be allowed to warm back to room temperature or they will be weak.
