The state of CA does not care who is right and who is wrong. The 50/50 split rule applies to almost everything (inheritance is not split). Since she is living in the house, you can insist that she pay you half of what you could rent the house for. Having recently gone through this myself, I thought I could stay in the house on moral grounds. I thought that the fact that my husband was an adulterer gave me rights as he had exited the marriage. This is not true. I could have had to pay him half what the house could have been rented for eight months. Spousal support: the person who makes the most may have to pay spousal support. In my case, my ex had not worked in years because he lived off a large inheritance. I work so I could have had to pay him spousal support. Lucky for me, he was too cheap to retain the services of an attorney so he didn't know any of this. My advice to you would be to get a good attorney who can look out for you.
