That will depend on what kind of printing you want to do! You can do: Digital direct print - DTG (best printers are Kornnit - from $40.000 up) Flex/Flock print (you need a vinyl cutter - from $500 up - and a heat press - from $500 up) Silkscreen Print (this is difficult to say, but you need at least a 6 head/14 plates machine. It will cost you way over $50.000 - machine + infradryer + thermoflashes - and you also need a lot of other equipment: meshes, inks, etc, etc, etc, Transfer print (serigraphic or sublimation) - You need a Heat press ($500 up), a Laser printer for sublimation (A3 Ricoh will cost around $1000), and that’s it, considering that you buy your serigraphic transferes from someone else. You can also buy a Roland VP540 (VersaCam) printer and cutter, and you can do Flex print in FULL COLOR ( this machine will go for around $9000 up ) There are other solutions but i would stick to these. In option nr. 3 i’m giving a professional solution. Of course you can do it with a simple silkscreen machine with 1 head and dry the inks with a hair dryer, but that’s for kidding around, not for a pro point of view. The most expendable is the one that produces better results, and the most cost effective, of course!
