Hi :-) For the first year I'm trying to grow pumpkins and I came across a minor problem to which I can't find the answer anywhere. What does a female flower or pumpkin germ look like that is not properly pollinated? Namely: for the first two female flowers that bloomed to me, it seemed to me that some bee had already found its way to them, because the fruits began to grow. But now both of whom I relied on insects began to shrink, and they were at least seven inches long. Is it because they have not been fertilized enough? They have sufficient watering. Should I be afraid that this will happen to the fruits that I pollinated by hand with an oyster? The plant is otherwise nicely healthy, still growing, full of male and female flowers everywhere. Thanks for the reply :-)
