When is it better to mow the grass on hay - in the morning or in the evening?

I've heard that in terms of nutrient content, it is better to mow the grass in the evening, it has more nutrients, especially a higher carbohydrate content and thus better hay. The grass mowed in the morning is said to be of better quality as a little better straw. Mowing in the evening is said to be traditional in Switzerland, but we can't go to the pub in the evening.

We have slightly different conditions than in Switzerland. The evening dew in our country falls, if it falls at all almost in the dark. As far as nutrients are concerned, I am convinced that the value is similar in the morning and in the evening. The nutrients will not change every twelve hours. We mow mostly in the morning, / I mean hand mowing / due to dew and moisture in the grass. It is much easier and there is not so much scythe. Machine mowing is done according to how much time is left for it.
