Loss of virginity occurs at an average age of 16, with boys tending to be 17 years old. At the age of 10 it is very rare, in which case both boys and girls usually just lie. At the age of 13-14, it is no longer so rare, but often coupled with a bad experience with girls. Not because they would not be physically prepared for it, but because they are either choosing the wrong partner who just wants to take advantage of them or not defending and catching a sexually transmitted disease / becoming pregnant. Worse, both. That’s why it’s not so much age that matters, it’s more important how long they’ve been together, whether they’re in love and have adequate information about sexuality.
