I think it's definitely worth doing if the car is worth more than double the investment, as buying another similar vehicle would be an even bigger investment. Otherwise, it would be worthwhile to inquire about the demolition all the way through, because you may find an engine for 100,000 HUF, and then the car can be repaired even cheaper.
