Solutions to the problem of overpopulation 1) Establishment of rural small and cottage industries: Establishment of small and cottage industries in the village will increase employment in the village and people will not move to the city. As a result, there will be no extra population in the city. 2) Permanent decentralization of government departments and administration: This problem can be solved by permanent decentralization of government departments and administration. 3) Accepting landless projects: Landless people come to the city. This problem can be solved by taking the right project for them. 4) Adequate loan facility: This problem can be solved by creating employment among the rural people with adequate loan facility. 5) Rural construction program: If adequate industrial factories can be built at the village level, the population pressure on the city will be less. 6) Modernization of agriculture : If we can increase production by using improved seeds , fertilizers , pesticides , machinery , in the field of agriculture, the population pressure in the city will be reduced and the problem will be solved. 6) Expansion of electricity: If it is possible to provide maximum amount of services in the village through extension of electricity, the population pressure on the city will be less. 6) Efficient administration: In order to reduce the extra population pressure of the city, efficient administration has to be created. 9) Increase in manpower: It is possible to solve various problems by increasing manpower in every sector of various service works of the city. Also increase awareness , Proper planning , raising the standard of education in rural educational institutions , development of water , gas , electricity , transport and communication systems , re-excavation of canals and ponds in the city , dumping and disposal of waste at designated places etc. can solve the problem of overpopulation.
