The flower spreads its fragrance to attract other insects including bees to help in pollination. This scent is created by the complex combination of several chemicals scattering flowers in the air. For example, in the case of roses, rwose oxide ( which has 4 different isomers ). In the case of lilies, beta-ocimene and linalool are the main ingredients for fragrance. Also ethyl 2-methoxybenzoate and responsible for the beautiful aroma of flowers.
