You know how expensive a funeral is? How expensive it is to get someone who has passed away affairs in order? At the least, you should have enough saved for that Also, you might die at 54 before you retire. Or you might live to 104. You don't know. And you don't want to be greeting at walmart until you're 100 and eating cat food in your car to survive.
