You should be able to use that under playground equipment that was used for years at publc playground before they used rubber from old tires.  Also can be used in gardens, mixed with soil or around plants...........must be watered to keep the plants moist, but keep them away from your home or garage.  You could draw termites or large carpenter ants.  We have used this in the garden with leaves, horse or cow manure & lime and tilled it in.
