Twitter is fast and to the point. No stupid contests or posts like “Look! I am a lemon! See what kind of fruit you are!” I use it for client communication and to announce new work. I have sold work through twitter. By the way it all depends on who you follow. Never follow anyone who tells you what they are eating or asks twitter followers if they look fat.
