I got married in a court house, with no guests, and went to a restaurant after that turned out not to be very good. So the wedding was about what I expected, but the dinner was disappointing. The ceremony was a bid odd too. The judge whisked into the chamber, read the vows she picked out of her little book (which were very nice, I couldn’t have come up with better) and then whisked out. I don’t think she even mentioned kissing the bride. We asked the bailiff if that was it, because it seemed like some ending statement was missing. He said, yup, you’re married. We left and had dinner. Took our wedding picture with the camera at arm’s length in the car. But it was a very happy day.
