I think…don’t know much about super heroes…I’d say, as another answer, that for some hero’s cases, this question wouldn’t apply. Conan the Barbarian does not enlist in the army, he runs armies. (try the comics for those of you only familiar with the big screen Arnie movies) But since he isn’t actually a super hero he doesn’t count.
