I think for all these kinds of questions there needs to be a sense of self awareness in the robots, and I can’t see that happening. Then again, robotics and A.I. technology go beyond me. Maybe the engineers can program them to dislike plastic colleagues (when they have found out the fabric they’re made of, after a touch analysis)? There will be superiority feelings amongst the builders and users, I’m afraid. See Android vs iOS.
