Why in electric motor or generator heating due to current involves dissipation of electrical energy?

1 Answer

Answer :

In electric motor or generator heating due to current involves dissipation of electrical energy because as the current increases there will be I2R losses. More current flow means more the heat will be generated and as the temperature of conductor increase its resistance increases.
