A battery powered stair lift can allow an aged or disabled person to access upper levels they wouldn't otherwise be able to. Unfortunately, the cost of these devices is prohibitive for most. They range from $1,500 to over $3,000. I would not reccomend using a battery powered stairlift,I would suggest a stairlift that is directly wired. You may experience a fluctioation in power with a battery powered lift.
