Today I almost stepped on a snake in the woods. He was so black and blue it seemed to me. Is there a good chance he could bite me while walking? Was it a viper?

No, he wasn't and it wasn't even a snake .... she was a lizard ... So Slepis brittle ... was that what you saw ...? .... .even it is recommended to wear sturdy shoes in the forest for this case .... because it is not very big and usually bites close to the ground ... so it does not take off the foot but the shoe ....
