Is the dressing poured into the salad immediately?

When I make a salad (tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, onions ....) and prepare a dressing (balsamic, a pinch of salt, a pinch of sugar, a pinch of pepper, olive) should I mix it now? Or put salad and topping in the fridge separately and pour topping on the cake? How are you doing? Do you mix everything together right away?

I don't make the dressing separately, so - I cut vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, onions, radishes, avocados ...) - I add sugar and salt, I mix, I leave ´ležet´ - only then water and lemon (I don't use vinegar) - oil I use it only for lettuce (lettuce, arugula, cornmeal, cabbage ...): o And better than olive is walnut.
