If there is a problem with sleep, no matter how many poems , songs and romances there are about sleepless nights , in the real case, if you do not sleep in the blink of an eye for a few days , you will be terrified , physically and mentally devastated. Self-confidence is lost. Then somehow a little sleep just became desirable. We sleep more than one-third of our lives. According to age, of course, there is a normal rhythm of sleep. Babies sleep too much. This sleep period decreases with age. Older people normally sleep less. In fact, this amount of sleep depends on the physiological needs. However, less sleep or too much sleep is not normal. According to medical science, 4 to 9 hours of sleep is normal and 6 to 8 hours of sleep is ideal for an adult. It has been observed that those who sleep for 9 hours or more are more prone to various diseases. So sleep at the right time in proportion to age is good for health. What exactly is insomnia ? Sleep and dreams are always the subject of curiosity of psychologists. According to scientists, there are two types of sleep. One is called 'REM or Rapid Eye Movement Phase' and the other is called 'NREM or Non Rapid Eye Movement Phase'. These two phases go back and forth in one sleep. In the REM phase, the body feels hotter , the pulse rate and blood pressure increase and in this phase, people dream. This is called thin sleep levels. In the NREM stage, people sleep soundly. Insomnia has been divided into three parts- 1. Initial Insomnia: Those who have difficulty or delay in falling asleep. 2. Middle insomnia: those whose sleep is repeatedly broken and 3. Terminal Insomnia: People who wake up early. And for those who have all the difficulties , it is called global insomnia. Treatment: The cause of insomnia is treated first. Moreover, some special medicines are given separately for insomnia. Some patients, of course, only want to be treated for insomnia , but in that case the patient's case history has to be considered. Exhaustion , fatigue comes on the face of a patient with nemesis. Many times the patient takes sleeping pills by himself. The consequences can be dire. You can benefit by following the rules below. Set aside 0 beds only for sleeping. Stop watching TV , chatting , eating while sitting in bed . 0 Never go to bed on an empty stomach. However, do not eat at night. It is not right to go to bed on a full stomach. It is also inappropriate to lie down immediately after eating again. Keep a time difference between eating and sleeping. 0 You can drink a glass of milk before going to bed. Milk contains tryptophan which will help you sleep. 0 Regular bath and if you feel comfortable before going to bed, you can wipe the neck , mouth and feet with water. 0 When going to sleep , do not worry about the causes of fatigue , discomfort or tension throughout the day. 0 Do not go to bed too excited. 0 Avoid doing any heavy work or excessive head work before going to sleep. 0 Try to go to bed at a certain time every day. 0 Noon sleep not only reduces your performance , it also destroys your night's sleep. Therefore , omit it. 0 It is better not to eat cigarettes , tobacco , tea , coffee before going to sleep . 0 Do not be worried about not getting a day or two of sleep.
