Petroleum obtained directly from a mine is called crude oil or petroleum. This crude oil is separated based on the boiling point in the partial distillation method. Partial distillation is a type of distillation. There are long columns here to cool the steam. The column is again divided into different parts. The lower part has the highest temperature. The higher that part, the lower its temperature. As a result, if a mixture of more than one liquid is evaporated with heat and a partial distillation is inserted into the lower part of the column, it will rise to the top of the column according to the nature of the vapor. Since the upper parts have lower temperatures , each component of the liquid mixture separates into different parts of the partial distillation column according to their boiling point. From this crude oil it is divided into petrol , gas , petroleum , naphtha , kerosene , diesel , paraffin mam and pitch. Which is used for various purposes
