I got a nose ring 4 days ago and it's the first person I've ever gotten, so I'm not quite familiar with them. A small bump started forming on one side of the outside, but it's not that defined and looks like a small amount of swelling. It's the same color as my skin (so not red or anything), doesn't hurt (at least not any more defined that the general soreness of the piercing itself), and doesn't look inflamed or infected. I know new piercings can swell, but I found it odd that a slight bump would only form on one side of the piercing. Should I be concerned or reach out to a doctor or a piercer?
