how do I dry hydrangea blooms and preserve their color

1 Answer

Answer :

Do not pick flower heads of Hydrangia until the tiny little bud within the larger flower has gone away.  This is the trick to keeping flower head from wilting. Take as much stem of flower as possible.  Put stem in small amount of water in a cool dry place away from light.  They should preserve their color and be ready to bring out into the open in a few weeks.
